Computer science is part of a dynamic hub that links to research throughout SEAS and to the rest of the University, drawing from fields such as Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to Harvard’s professional schools in medicine and business. students to obtain broad knowledge of computer science by taking graduate level courses in a variety of sub-areas in computer science, such as systems, networking, databases, algorithms, complexity, hardware, human-computer interaction, graphics, and/or programming languages.
MS – Civil and Environmental Engineering – Cornell University
In the Master of Science program, each student plans an individualized course of study with the assistance of a special committee made up of faculty members representing major and minor concentrations of study. The degree requires a thesis and a final oral examination. A minimum of 2 registration units from Cornell is required for the MS. MS degree students can not receive registration credits for previous study at other graduate schools.
