The Master of Science (M.S.) program is a terminal degree program. It is based on the completion of lecture courses focused on a theme within the discipline of Aeronautics and Astronautics engineering. No thesis is required. No research is required.The Department has a strong presence in computational aerospace engineering and an innovative research program in Computational-Based Design.
Although primarily a graduate-level department, the program offers an undergraduate major in Aeronautics and Astronautics (AA) leading to the B.S. degree in Engineering and an undergraduate minor in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
