NYU Stern, it believes that business can be, and needs to be, one of the strongest forces for value creation in an improved world. To develop people and ideas that can improve the world in the 21st century, Stern needs to not only impart knowledge but change mindsets. It wants the students to redefine value creation in the broadest sense possible: for themselves, their organization and for broader society, opening up new possibilities for what business can achieve.

Course Structure
Launch is a two-week program that begins with an intellectual summit to explore the intersection of the World, Business and City.
- NYU Stern’s MBA program is 60 credits; more than half are electives. To ensure that you have a solid foundation in all areas of business, the majority of your first year is comprised of Stern core courses.
- During the summer between your first and second year, you will participate in a summer internship. The internship provides industry experience and vital networking connections that help you take your career to the next level.
- Your second year is comprised almost entirely of elective courses. You will also take your final core course, Professional Responsibility.
International Exchange & Double Degrees
In partnership with several world-class graduate programs at NYU and abroad, Stern offers dual degree programs that combine the rigorous management training of the MBA with the interdisciplinary perspective that global business leadership demands. Students can choose from programs with the School of Law, the Wagner School of Public Service, and the Kanbar Institute of Film & Television, among others.
Internships
You can receive up to $21,500 in tuition remission during your MBA program by working as a Teaching Fellow (TF) or Graduate Assistant (GA) in one of the many positions available through Stern departments. These positions offer students an opportunity to contribute to the School and to their classmates’ experience. Hundreds of TF and GA positions are filled by Stern MBA students each year.
