International Exchange & Double Degrees

Both study abroad and the International Plan are viable options for BME students. The International Plan is a challenging and coherent academic program for undergraduates that develops global competence within the context of a student’s major. It is a degree-long program that integrates international studies and experiences into any participating major at Georgia Tech. Students will work closely with the International Plan office and the BME Academic Office to make sure they are taking the right classes to lead to graduation.

Employment Stats

Division of Professional Practice : More than 3,000 Georgia Tech students currently participate in the four separate DoPP Program, all of which are voluntary. DoPP co-op students and interns are employed by more than 1,000 businesses and organizations, worldwide – ranging from small privately owned enterprises to major multi-national corporations and governmental agencies. The Undergrad Co-op Program is designed to be started during a student’s freshman and sophomore year, while GTIP Program serves the employment needs of juniors and seniors. Masters and Doctorial Candidates participate in the Grad Co-op Program, and juniors, seniors and graduate students are all eligible for the Work Abroad Program.
