Aerospace and mechanical engineers design and build unique, complex mechanical-optical-electronic (mechoptronic) systems, ranging in scale from the International Space Station (102 m) to microscale electric generators and pumping systems (< 10-3 m). The Master of Science with emphasis in Dynamics and Control educates and trains multidisciplinary professionals in the modeling, analysis, simulation and control of complex time-evolutionary systems. It is a program of study that encompasses advanced analytical dynamics, nonlinear dynamical systems, linear and nonlinear dynamics and vibrations, and linear and nonlinear control. The program equips students to apply their knowledge to a variety of complex systems encountered in nature and society, especially those in civil, mechanical and aerospace engineering and applied mechanics

On-Campus Interviews:-
On-Campus Interviews allow you to efficiently conduct screening interviews here at USC. We will work with you to set a date for your interviews, then help you post the job description along with the specific requirements (for degree, major, graduation date & work authorization) that you provide. You then collect resumes through our online system and pre-select your top candidates for interviews. This program is free to employers and students.
Career Events
The Viterbi Career Services office is proud to be your link to students in the USC Viterbi School of Engineering! We are a full-service office, with services ranging from Job Boards to On-campus Interviews, as well as two Viterbi Engineering Career Expos each year! We also manage the USC Cooperative Education Program, providing you with top Engineering students who serve as a steady source of future hires.

Viterbi Career Expo
The Viterbi Career Expo is an excellent opportunity to increase your company’s visibility among our top Engineering students. We offer 2 tech-only expos each year in October and January/February. The Engineering Career Expo is attended by 110-120 top Engineering employers and approximately 1500-2000 of our students.
Viterbi Career Conference
The Viterbi Career Conference is offered each fall to undergraduate Engineers. This one-day event, coordinated by Viterbi Career Services Office, brings alumni and industry representatives to campus to present workshops on various topics, conduct mock interviews, and provide resume critiques. This event, which provides students with valuable skills and strategies they can apply to the job search process, is entirely dependent on corporate sponsorship and volunteers.
Viterbi Industry Networking Event
The Viterbi Industry Networking Event can help students prepare for the Career Expo and give employers a preview of Viterbi upperclassmen the night before the Expo. After the activity, students and employers have the opportunity to reconnect during a casual networking hour with beverages and appetizers. Employers who attend VINE will receive a resume book of the students in attendance.
